Welcome to our little corner on the writing block.

Heya darlings!

First of all, let me extend a big thank you for gracing me with your presence. The fact that you've welcomed me into your inbox means the absolute world to me, and I'm filled with nothing but gratitude. This has been in the works for over half a decade, a life in the making as I like to say. (My cat—Merlin for the record—is totally judging me for how much I smiled when I saw your subscription come through.)

So, how did we get here?

The saying goes that nothing is harder to do in sports than hit a baseball—now I wouldn't know about that from experience but I do know one thing. Nobody throws a better curveball than the universe. I found myself as a child with a pen in my hand and paper in front of me, and my imagination from that moment on—never ceased. I lacked little in value, morals, and even in spelling, but I knew I wanted nothing more than writing. So take it from me, Ash Myers, no matter if you're a reader—writer, or casual peruser. I'm so glad our paths have crossed, and you've given me the opportunity to fulfill my dream—one biweekly entry at a time.

Meet Ash Myers

Writer, Reader, and Dreamer

Hi—I'm Ash Myers. To summarise it most simply, I'm a writer, reader, and perhaps most importantly…a dreamer. I've been scribbling stories since I could hold a pen. I truly believe we all have that quote unquote thing that makes us truly happy. Not all of us have an answer to what exactly that thing is, but I do. It's connecting with you, the reader, the writer, and the dreamer.

I believe in the duality of the creative process—the saint attitude and the discipline that comes with it—the sinful chaos that somehow lands magic in our life and on the page.

When I'm not catching story ideas in the shower (still searching for the right waterproof notepad), I'm co-creating with my incredible writing partner. Our novels—including The God's Champion and Duet are only the beginning of what is hopefully an illustrious writing career.

My biweekly newsletter Saints & Sinners is where I share behind the scenes peeks at my writing journey, tools that have helped me fit a halo around my horns in this industry, and the books that have wrapped themselves around me. Most importantly, it's where I celebrate YOU and your creative path.
